Two solar power plants scheduled to go into service in 2019

Y Energy is announcing closing of $1.2 million financing round for 2 solar projects totaling 415kW with Erindale Energy LLC. Projects have been completed and are scheduled to go into service in December 2019.One of the solar projects is located on Shelter Island, NY, and is registered as a community solar project. Y Energy jointly develops the 178kW project with Harvest Power LLC. The project provides enough electricity to 14 initial subscribers who enjoy the benefits of clean solar power at a discount of up to 15% compared to standard utility power rates. The second project is built in Culpeper, VA by Sun Tribe Solar. The 237kW solar system provides covered parking and up to 331MWh of energy per year.
