First 2.8MW Portion of 12.4MW Plant Completed

Y Energy is proud to announce completion of our first utility scale solar project. In time for year-end, the project passed final inspection in December 2021. After several delays in the permitting process, our teams at Elite PV Engineering LLC and Temo Power, Inc. worked tirelessly to complete construction in time. The 2.8MW first portion of a 12.4MW plant was constructed within only 6 weeks.

Going by the name "Kumquat," and located in Delmar, MD, the system will operate in the PJM merchant market. In collaboration with our investor, Y Energy will assess opportunities as they present themselves in the future, including community solar subscriptions as soon as the Maryland community solar program emerges out of its pilot phase.
